AWLA SOUND SYSTEM

Awla Sound System nasce a Mazara Del Vallo in Sicilia nel 2016, dalla passione di 4 ragazzi ex musicisti, (Bredda Mandi, Irie Charlie, JahBear e (Baldo)), per la Sound System Culture e la musica Reggae – Roots e Dub.

“Awla” vuol dire “Primo”, la scelta del nome nasce dalle origini arabe della città e per incoronare l’inizio ed il primo passo verso una nuova missione, divulgare positive vibez ed il messaggio che la Sound System Culture promuove con una selezione principalmente in vinile e non solo, con generi che variano dal Reggae, Roots 70′-80′ alla new roots e Dub music. Awla Sound System was born in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily in 2016 from the passion, of 4 ex musician Bredda Mandi, Irie Charlie, JahBear and Baldo, about Sound System Culture and Reggae – Roots and Dub music.

“Awla” means “First”, the name comes from the arab roots of the city and to crown the beginning of a mission, to spread some positive vibez and the message of Sound System Culture, with a mainly vinyl selection and more. From Reggae, Roots 70′-80′ to New Roots and Dub music. Peace, Love ‘n Unity
