Mistical Sound ft. Tanzo MC

Mistical Sound nasce nel 2007 a Caltanissetta – provincia dell’entroterra siciliano – ma dal 2010 afferma la sua attività perlopiù nel centro storico del capoluogo dell’isola (“Vucciria”, Palermo); inizialmente composto da quattro membri, a rappresentare il sound oggi è Marco Mistical (selecta, soundman, promoter) accompagnato dallo stile siciliano marcato del MC Tanzo. – Roots reggae, Dub, Rub-a-dub, Raggamuffin, New Roots, Dancehall, Hip Hop – le sonorità di cui si è reso propagatore agli innumerevoli eventi e festival locali – ed europei – a cui Mistical Sound ha partecipato ed/o è stato promotore, tra cui: SIKULA REGGAE FESTIVAL SICILY MUSIC VILLAGE NEBRODI ART FESTIVAL MANUEL DUB ONE DAY MUSIC AMSTERDAM SOUND SYSTEM WEEKENDER 2016 VUCCIREAL DUB PRESSURE NIGHT Nel 2013, insieme a Mighty Prophet e Roots Sensation fondano le etichette di ristampa “Roots Traders” e “Digital Traders” che attualmente conta circa 30 ristampe in vinile.

Nel 2014 collabora con altri due sound system locali (Lupen Hi Fi e Himera Sound) per la fondazione del collettivo DUB PRESSURE CREW (di cui fanno parte anche Tanzo MC, Dubshotta e Labroots), che si fa carico di diffondere vibrazioni Roots e Dub in vinile e di rendere nota la cultura del sound system in tutta l’isola.

Mistical Sound was born in 2007 in Caltanissetta (small town in the middle of Sicily), it was composed by four members but nowadays just Marco Mistical keeps going on and represent the musical project.

Since 2010 Mistical Sound is active in Palermo (Sicily’s capital) but it also organizes a lot of Reggae & Dub festivals and events all over the island.

It is one of the most active sound system in the south of Italy, characterized by the strong sicilian style of its MC Tanzo, and many jamaican dubplates.

-Roots reggae, Dub, Rub-a-dub, Raggamuffin, New Roots, Dancehall, Hip Hop – those the vibes spread by Mistical Sound System during many local and european events like:

SIKULA REGGAE FESTIVAL, SICILY MUSIC VILLAGE, NEBRODI ART FESTIVAL, MANUEL DUB, ONE DAY MUSIC, AMSTERDAM SOUND SYSTEM WEEKENDER 2016, VUCCIREAL, DUB PRESSURE NIGHT.

Besides all the sound system stuff Mistical Sound also focuses on productions and vinyl re-pressing, in 2013 together with two friends Marco found two record label: Roots Traders Records and Digital Traders Records. Today we count 30 vynil repress. He also has strMiong links with the sicilian record label Higher Regions and he works as a promoter for them.

In 2014, Mistical Sound together with Lupen Hi Fi and Himera Sound System (other 2 sicilian sound systems) found a dub collective for the purpose of sharing and disseminating all over the island the sound system culture.
